Śrīla Prabhupāda-līlāmṛta tells the story of a remarkable individual and a remarkable achievement. The individual is A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda: philosopher, scholar, religious leader, saint. The achievement is the revolutionary transplantation of a timeless spiritual culture from ancient India to twentieth-century America and the world.
Prabhupāda-līlā, now included as a supplementary last volume of the six-volume /Śrīla Prabhupāda-līlāmṛta/, contains further stories of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s teachings and adventures in bringing bhakti-yoga to the West. This last volume focuses primarily on the early years of his teaching in America, from 1967 to 1969, with some additional chapters on his experiences of sharing Kṛṣṇa consciousness in Europe and South America.
